Windrush Celebration with Cogens at Lowhill Community Centre, 22nd June 2023

As part of the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Windrush Generation to Britain Diversity Music Community 1st performed a series of traditional and modern Caribbean songs reflecting and celebrating the journey the Windrush Generation undertook. The event was held at Lowhill Community Centre, Wolverhampton, and was successful with over 200 people in attendance. All thoroughly enjoyed themselves singing and dancing throughout the afternoon.
